Game rules
Number of players : 3 to10
Game length : 10 to 20 minutes
Age : 7 +
Objective : become the waiter who will have the most tips at the end of the game.

A. BEFORE PLAYING
*Beginners: take the "event" cards and the "order" cards with tips from 1 to 4.
*Advanced players: take all the "event" and "order" cards.
*Discard the "clock" card (to be used with advanced rules).
*Choose the "game master" (other players are the "waiters").
*The game master places the "order" cards and the "event" cards as 2 distinct stacks in front of him, face down.
*The game master sets the number of tips needed for a waiter to win the game (8 minimum).
B. PLAYING THE GAME
The game master draws 5 "order" cards and 2 "event" cards and places them face up in the middle of the table.
Facing these exposed cards, each waiter will in turn (clockwise) choose one and only one of these 3 actions:
1. Take an "order" card (mandatory during the 1 st round, no choice).
2. Take an "event" card.
3. Serve his order(s).
When an "order" or "event" card is taken, the game master has to replace it immediately by a card of the same kind so that the configuration always remains the same (illus. #1).
1. Take an "order" card
A waiter chooses, among the 5 "order" cards, a card that he has memorized and places it face down in front of him. The order is taken but not served yet...
2. Take an "event" card
"Same again" : a waiter can take this card to place it on one of his non served order(s). When he will serve this order, he will receive double tips for it.
"Notepad" : a waiter can take this card to place it on one of his non served orders. The order will be visible until it is served (he then gives it to the game master and recites it to him). The "notepad" card is then discarded from the game.
"Clients gone, order cancelled" : a waiter can take this card to place it on one of the orders another waiter has not served yet.
This waiter then loses his order.
The "order" card and the "Clients gone..." card are then discarded from the game.
* An "event" card can only be taken if it can be used immediately.
* A same order cannot have 2 "Same again" cards placed on it.
* "Same again" and "Notepad" cards can be placed on the same order.
3. Serve one or several orders
The waiter gives to the game master all the "order" cards (from 1 to ...) he took during the previous rounds and recites the orders in detail.
Every order correctly recited is "served". The waiter earns the tip corresponding to the order and places the card face up next to him.
C. GAME END
When a waiter reaches the number of tips decided at the beginning of the game, the game round has to be finished so that every player plays the same number of rounds. Then, the waiter who has the most tips is the winner.
ADVANCED RULE
> With the "clock" card
The objective is not to reach a certain number of tips anymore but to be the waiter who has most tips... when the bar closes!
Place the "clock" card on the left of the "order" cards as shown below.
If the "order" card placed just on the right of the "clock" card is taken, then the "clock" card replaces this "order" card.
The game master then has to place a new order on the left of the clock (illus. #2 and #3).

GAME END
When the clock comes to replace the rightmost order, the bar is going to close very soon. You will need to:
1. Finish the game round to ensure that all the waiters have played the same number of times.
2. Once the game round is finished, all the orders that were taken can be served.
When this is done, the bar closes and the waiter with the most tips is the winner.

Game rules
..........2 possibilities :
1. "Run for the tips"
2. "Last orders at the bar"
1. "RUN FOR THE TIPS"
Choose the game master (other players are the "waiters"). The game master places the "order" cards and the "event" cards as 2 distinct stacks in front of him, face down.
Set the difficulty of the game by choosing tips values according to the players' skills:
- From the easy game => tips from 1 to 3
- To the difficult game => tips from 1 to 5
OBJECTIVE :
Reach the number of tips set by the game master (8 minimum).
The game master draws 5 "order" cards and 2 "event" cards and places them face up in the middle of the table (illus. #1).
..........Illus. #1
Facing these exposed cards, each waiter will in turn (clockwise) choose one and only one of these 3 actions :
1. Take an "order" card.
2. Take an "event" card "Same again" : a waiter can take this card to place it on one of his non served order(s). When he will serve this order, he will receive double tips for it.
"Notepad" : a waiter can take this card to place it on one of his non served orders. The order is then turned face up and stays visible until it is served (see "3. Serve one or several orders").
"Clients gone, order cancelled" : a waiter can take this card to place it on one of the orders another waiter has not served yet. The order is then cancelled and goes back in the "order" cards stack in front of the game master.
- An "event" card can only be taken if it can be used immediately.
- A same order cannot have 2 "Same again" cards placed on it.
- "Same again" and "Notepad" cards can be placed on the same order.
- The game master puts back used "event" cards in the stack.
3. Serve one or several orders
The waiter gives to the game master all the "order" cards (from 1 to ...) he took during the previous rounds and recites the orders in detail.
For every order that is correctly recited, the waiter receives from the game master the tips corresponding to the value on the card.
- For the cards that don't have a tip value on them (dice), the player must throw the dice to know how many tips he will earn (from 1 to 6).
GAME END
When a waiter reaches the number of tips decided at the beginning of the game, the game round has to be finished so that every player plays the same number of rounds. Then, the waiter who has the most tips is the winner.
1. "LAST ORDERS AT THE BAR"
OBJECTIVE : it's not about reaching a set amount of tips anymore, but about being the waiter who has most tips when the bar closes.
The setting is the same, only the "clock" marker is added.
Place the "clock" marker under the first "order" card (illus. #2).
.....Illus. #2

If the "order" card placed over the clock is taken by a waiter, the game master then moves the "clock" marker under the second "order" card (illus. #3).
.....Illus. #3

GAME END
When the "clock" marker arrives under the rightmost order and this order is taken by a waiter, the bar is about to close.
You will need to:
1. Finish the game round to ensure that all the waiters have played the same number of times.
2. Once the game round is finished, all the orders that were taken can be served.
When this is done, the waiter with the most tips is the winner.
POSSIBLE VARIANT
In order to make the game more complex, you can ask the waiters to tell precisely which character receives which drink.
